Board of Directors:

Erin L. Musto - President

Erin is Maddie, Amelia and Lucy’s mom and serves as the foundation's President. She is an active member of the YMCA, loves to play, talk, and run. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from SUNY Potsdam and has spent most of her time being a mom and exploring with her girls. She has come to love helping others enjoy ‘best days ever’ as well as having a lot more ‘best days ever’ with her family.

Matthew Musto - Founder

Matthew is Maddie’s dad and co-founder of Maddie's Mark. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and has 8 years of IT and Project Management experience. He is active in the outdoors and participates in sports and YMCA activities.

Lois DeJohn - Financial Director

Lois manages our accounts and serves as our financial expert. She has raised 4 children and has 5 grandchildren. She and her husband Victor love to volunteer!

Jennifer Fitzpatrick - Child Enrichment Grant Manager

Jennifer is responsible for the Child Enrichment Grants for Maddie's Mark. She holds a Bachelors in Communications from Oswego State and a Masters in Organizational Communication from University at Albany. She has over 15 years experience in sales and business development. She is also a member of the YMCA, volunteers for the Girl Scouts, loves anything outdoors and enjoys time with her husaband and two children. 

Joan Hart -Foundation Secretary

Joan has been a volunteer with Maddie’s Mark for the past 18 months. Her responsibilities include communication and social media. She is on the board of the Donna M. Crandall Memorial Foundation locally, and during the winter months, volunteers for TwinEagles Cares in Naples, FL. She is a past President of the North Colonie School Board, a role she served for three years after serving as Vice President for two years. Additionally, she chaired several Board s of Directorcommittees including Budget, Community Board Relations, and Employee Relations. Retired since 2019, Joan is married with 3 adult daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, golfing, spending time at the beach, and time with family and friends.


Laura Mattiske - Best Day Ever Manager

Laura is the liaison between Maddie's Mark Foundation and the Child Life Specialist at the Melodies Center. She has been volunteering since retiring in April, 2017. Her other volunteer work includes St Mary's Cancer Center, American Cancer Society Hope Club and Road to Recovery, Daughter for Hire, Things of Very Own, Feed Albany, and Sarasota Hospice.  She has a passion for helping people and has enjoyed getting to know families as they plan their Best Day Ever. Laura adores her two daughters and 5 grandchildren. She also likes to travel and looks forward to her trips to Florida with her husband every winter.
 

Wendi Matusic - "Executive Producer" of Maddie's Elephants

Wendi sews and ships Maddie's Elephants for the foundation. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Vermont and a Master's in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has served as a board member at Mater Christi School and National Little League as well. After many years in corporate positions, Wendi enjoys being a stay-at-home mom, time with her husband and son, riding a Spin bike, and working on her craft and sewing business endeavors.

Kathi Snyder - Fundraising Manager

Kathi serves as the Fundraising Manager for our foundation. She has over 13 years of management and marketing experience. She is active in the Capital Region Small Business Community as a successful local entrepreneur and volunteer.  Her volunteer work includes being a board member for Autism Speaks and nine years of support for Colonie Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading.  She is a mother to three children and enjoys time with her family and watching football.
